Background

F.S. Gurk is the founder of Gurk Law, P.C., and has been fighting for clients that have been severely injured or killed in accidents for over 20 years.  He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and from an early age began to work for one of Philadelphia’s most well known personal injury law firms through high school and college.  He graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Pre-Law, with a minor in Japanese Language and Culture.  He graduated with Honors in Political Science and studied abroad for 6 months in Japan.  After working with law firms in Philadelphia that focused on personal injury and wrongful death cases, he subsequently entered Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, in New York.

In addition to his focus on personal injury and wrongful death cases, he was also affiliated with a company in Burbank, California that focused standards and practices and legal counsel for the entertainment industry where he provided legal services for television shows such as the Golf Channel's Big Break and numerous Network TV shows - Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Wheel of Fortune, The Pyramid, and Trading Spaces, to name a few.   He has also provided assistance to individuals in the entertainment industry with their contract renegotiations.

Since establishing his firm, his main focus has been representing individuals who have sustained personal and tragic injuries and the families of individuals who have lost loved ones as a result of these horrific accidents.
